WebBlacksmithing, unfortunately, is kind of the inverse of what you described. It's fantastic for end game bis (PvE or PvP) for ret, not particularly useful to use while leveling up, and largely pointless for a protection paladin at any point in the game. Really while leveling there's not much reason to bother with any crafting profession.
