Complications associated with FBA can be either immediate or delayed. WebIngestion is the foremost step in the process of nutrition. Ingestion is a mechanism of introducing food into the gastrointestinal tract (GIT). In humans, ingestion occurs through the mouth. The food is then transferred to other GIT organs for digestion, absorption, assimilation, and excretion.
