I love my flatwounds and would rather not swap out my strings every time I wanna play a certain song/style. I found a used Squier 70s Modified Vintage bass for only $270.

I also have a jazz bass with flatwounds, and for the life of me I can't seem to slap very well. Is there some sort of difficulty with slapping on flatwounds? Or am I just awful at it? WebI usually have flats on one bass, but, and I don’t expect any support on this, I put on my active jazz E and A roundwounds with D and G flatwounds and I’ve just left it like that and idk I really like it.
